Free parent effectiveness training

Ganasini Iris, who lives and teaches in Northern California, will be on Saipan for a one-time presentation on effective parenting at Brilliant Star Montessori School on Navy Hill.

Ganasini obtained her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from State University of New York and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Oregon.
For 35 years she taught at an alternative community school and did independent study for homeschool children. She also teaches parenting classes, titled “Creating Sacred Relationships with your Children” and “Parent Effectiveness Training.” Her classes address these subjects:
• How to talk so your children will listen;
• How to listen so they feel understood;
• How to resolve conflicts so nobody loses; and
• How to know which skills to use when.
