The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.’s Environmental Health Disease Prevention closed down four establishments in March for serious violations of health and sanitation standards.

The Lao Market in Chalan Kanoa was shuttered on March 18, followed by Pacific Star Wholesale in Chalan Kanoa on March 23, Green Consume Market in As Lito on March 26, and Family Store in Garapan on March 30. It was not immediately learned if these establishments have already reopened since then. The EHDP press statement yesterday provided the suspension dates for the four establishments but not the date when they were certified to resume operations. Establishments that are closed down for any health safety violations are usually allowed to resume operations once they rectify any cited violation.
