Former Superior Court associate judge and now practicing attorney Timothy H. Bellas is suing a client in a paternity case for allegedly refusing to pay attorney’s fee and costs amounting to $8,024.14.

Bellas wants the Superior Court to order Ray S. Tenorio to pay him the attorney’s fee, costs, and interest.

Saipan Tribune tried but failed to contact Tenorio.

Bellas stated in the complaint that Tenorio entered into an agreement for legal representation with him in May 2005 in connection with a then pending paternity action.

Bellas said the matter is now done but Tenorio has yet to pay him for his legal services despite receipt of monthly billing statements.
