Formal charges filed vs teacher accused of sexual abuse
The Office of the Attorney General yesterday filed formal charges against a teacher accused of sexually abusing two minor girls and inappropriately touched the private parts of two minor boys.
The OAG, however, charged the 42-year-old Kenn Litulumar Aldan only with respect to one minor girl.
The information filed by assistant attorney general Barbara Cepeda charged Aldan with sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.
According to Cepeda, the incident happened between Feb. 1, 2015 and April 30, 2015 on Saipan.
Cepeda said the defendant touched the girl’s genital area, breast, and buttocks.
Police detective Therese S. Kintoki stated in her report that last March 10 a police officer responded to an apartment in Chinatown where a woman reported a child abuse incident.
Kintoki said the woman told police that the defendant inappropriately touched the private parts of two minor boys and also repeatedly sexually abused the boys’ sister starting when she was 12 years old.
The woman alleged that Aldan also sexually abused the children’s other minor sister and that the latest incident happened only last February.
