FOA hosts free movie night
The Friends of the Arts presents another enjoyable night at the movies for the entire family. FOA will be hosting an outdoor movie special, for the second time this season, today, Dec. 21, for the movie Arthur Christmas, a 2011 animated family comedy.
The movie purports to reveal the incredible, never-before seen answer to every child’s question: “So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?”
The Friends of the Arts invites the community to come to the Saipan Country Club green and bring chairs or blankets, relax, and enjoy a night at the movies. Viewers can bring their own food and drinks and have a picnic, or purchase snacks and drinks from the Marianas High School Theater Club. The movie lasts two hours, with preceding cartoons, and is rated PG.
This production will be held on just one night, Dec. 21, at 6:30pm. Parking will be at the Saipan Vegas Club and Resort on Middle Road just south of McDonald’s, with a short walk around the back-left of the building up to the green. Saipan Country Club staff will be there to give directions and there will be a golf cart to give rides to anyone who might have a problem with the walk. There will be a tent in case of rain. Do not take the old road at the old SCC sign. You cannot drive to the movie site. You must park at Saipan Vegas.
There is no entrance fee for this event.
The Friends of the Arts thanks the Saipan Country Club, Bridge Capital CNMI, the Northern Marianas College, and Marianas High School. (PR)
