Smell the roasting Vietnamese coffee when you walk in and ask for a cup. It’ll be sure to add to the experience as you check out Vu’s fine and delicate, high quality glazed pots, silk lanterns, and woodcarvings.
Her pots and vases come in deep-set colors, with live plants also available that Vu will be happy to pot for you. And to go with a wall of wood carved Buddhas and lions are delicate tea sets, tea holders, and coffee cups. Bamboo place mats are also available.
Her products are of the highest quality but come at reasonable prices, Vu says. You can join in the holidays’ festive spirit today with the entertainment centers and stocking stuffers, silver necklaces and earrings that she offers.
Her Vietnamese products are the perfect gift, small or big, for those people looking for a unique twist to their gift giving during Christmas.
On top of all this, Vu is a seamstress. Behind her store is a professional-grade sewing machine. Custom fit curtains and fabrics are available if a customer asks for them, she said. Customers can even supply her with their own fabrics. From this, she can make tablecloths, place mats, or curtains.
“Bring in anything and I can do it,” she said.
Also, purchases can be brought to businesses or houses of patrons.
The Vietnam Home Gallery opened in June. After a trial sale of Vietnamese items at Brabu Pharmacy, Vu hopes the appeal carries over into a successful store.
She began her time on Saipan during the garment industry and can even add cleaning houses to her name. Now, she enjoys offering genuine slices of Vietnamese life with her home gallery.
All her items are shipped directly from vendors in Vietnam, and right now they are on 15-percent discount. So give it a try! Her store is located along Gualo Rai before the Quartermaster Road traffic light intersection heading south.
