The Cave Shop is located along Beach Road, a perfect location facing the ocean as it sends a vibe of liveliness and diversity present in island living.

Primarily a smoking accessories shop where people can find glass bongs, pipes, hookahs, oil burner, and many more, it also offers other accessories for everyday lifestyle such as caps, bags and belt bags, and stickers.

According to owner Nolie R. Labadan, he started making personalized caps online in 2016.

“I started with a few pieces selling to family and friends at first, but then my customers grew. A year later in December 2017, I decided to finally open up a shop that will allow me to serve to a bigger market and sell other hobbies or interests that people are into,” he said.

“I used the name Cave Shop because in the old days, people gathered in caves to keep warm, to smoke, or share a smoke. I also thought that the name would be perfect because it will allow me to put out several merchandise,” he added.

The Cave Shop also carries products that are perfect for gift-giving such as body piercing accessories, hemp body lotion which has hemp oil perfect for relaxation and moisturize any skin type, Bob Marley ashtrays, and towels.

“Since October is fast coming, we have masks that will be perfect for Halloween costume parties on island,” Labadan said.

Labanan said that one of the store’s goals is to be a marijuana dispensary when the cannabis regulations in the CNMI are set. “It really depends on the specifics of the regulations that the [Commonwealth Casino Commission] will come out with and the cost of business license and taxes.”

The Cave Shop is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm. For more information, you can call them at (671)777-6245 and look them up on Facebook: “Cavehauz.”
