Financial aid application, scholarship deadlines, placement test dates
Northern Marianas College is reminding the community that the deadline to submit applications for admission for NMC’s spring 2022 semester is Dec. 1, 2021. The deadline to register for classes for the spring 2022 semester is Jan. 3, 2022.
Financial aid is also available for the spring 2022 semester. The scholarship deadlines are as follows:
• Saipan Higher Education Financial Assistance Application deadline: Dec. 1, 2021
• CNMI Scholarship deadline: Dec. 15, 2021
• Pell Grant (Free Application for Federal Student Aid): Dec. 2, 2021
• APIA Scholarship for fall 2022: Jan. 25, 2022
In addition, prospective college students will need to take a Math and English placement test. The available dates to take the placement tests are as follows:
• 11/24/21 at 9:30am
• 12/2/21 at 9:30am and 1:30pm
• 12/2/21 at 9:30am and 1:30pm
• 12/9/21 at 9:30am and 1:30pm
• 12/10/21 at 9:30am
• 12/13/21 at 9:30am and 1:30pm

Applications can be submitted online via the NMC website at www.marianas.edu or in-person by visiting the Office of Admissions and Records at NMC’s As Terlaje campus. The office is open from 9am to 4pm from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
Individuals who need help with their financial aid applications can email NMC’s Financial Aid Office at fao@marianas.edu or call 237-6791/2/3/4.
