‘Fiji Live on Saipan’ concert on Saturday at Fiesta Resort
One of the biggest Polynesian artists, with millions of fans around the Pacific and Hawaii, will be making his way to Saipan to perform this Saturday.
George Veikoso—widely known as Fiji—is expected to wow Saipan with his international reggae hits like Sweet Darling and Come on Over. Fiji’s other popular hits are Morning Ride and Naughty Girl.
The “Fiji Live on Saipan” concert will be held at Fiesta Resort and Spa beach side. Doors open at 5pm and show starts at 6:30pm.
Tickets are being sold at Borderline in Garapan and the 670 Rocksteady Shop on Middle Road. It is $40 for general and $60 for VIP. VIP benefits include sitting at the center stage area, beverage and beer garden, and two free drink tickets.
Fiji will joined in the one-night concert by Hawaiian artists Kolohe Kai, DJ Hapa Boy, Siaosi, Kiwini Vaitai, and Drew Deezy, who will serve as his opening act.
Local musicians High Tide, Roman Tudela, Parker Yobei, and Caroline Connect will also perform.
The “Fiji Live on Saipan” is a production of Steven Brownstein Entertainment.
“Preparations are currently underway as we hope to kick off 2015 with these once-in-a-lifetime musical concert experiences for the CNMI community,” said Nola Hix, who is a member of the concert committee.
