Fiduciary training in the CNMI in July
The Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies, in partnership with fi360, the recognized leader in investment fiduciary education, have organized a two-day fiduciary training program specifically designed for investment stewards to be held in the Northern Marianas Islands on July 10 and 11, 2017, at Laolao Bay Golf Resort.
The Fiduciary Essentials Training will be held on July 10, 2017, from 7:30am to 5pm. It is a one-day classroom-based course, designed and instructed by fi360. The program will cover all of the components of a comprehensive investment process and related standards of care. Ross Fowler, AIFA president of fi360 Pacific, will teach the course. Those who complete the program will be awarded a certificate of completion and allow interested participants to apply for membership in the Fiduciary Academy.
The next day, July 11, will have the APAFS Investment Conference from 8am to 3:15pm. It is a one-day program that will address the fundamentals of investing in stocks, bonds and public real estate as well as address the critical asset allocation decision. Speakers from investment advisory firms that specialize in each topic will share their insights and answer questions.
The fee is $800 per registrant. Breakfast, lunch and all course materials are inclusive. Group discounts are available for organizations that will be sending five or more registrants. APAFS institutional members with updated 2017 dues are entitled to a $50 discount.
