Fee waivers for Kagman, San Antonio NMC Info Session participants
Individuals who participate in the Northern Marianas College’s upcoming Info Session workshops will qualify to have their NMC Fall 2016 admission application fee and placement test fees waived. The waiver represents a savings of up to $75.
The information sessions, which are open to all prospective students and community members, will provide information about NMC’s admissions process, finding money for college, and NMC’s degree programs. There will also be a discussion about NMC’s Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program, which awards college credit based on an evaluation of college-level knowledge and skill individuals have gained outside the classroom.
The info sessions will be held on the following date and time:
• Wednesday, July 13, 2016, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Kagman Community Center
• Thursday, July 14, 2016, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at at Pacific Islands Club, Napu Room
• Additional information sessions will also be held at other locations and islands on the following dates:
• Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Sinapalo Youth Center (Rota)
• Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at As Paris, Songsong Village (Rota)
• Monday, July 21, 2016 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Tanapag Youth Center
• Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at NMC’s As Terlaje Campus, Room D1
College faculty, staff, and students from the different degree and certificate programs at NMC, as well as Student Services representatives from counseling, financial aid, and admissions, will also be on hand to provide helpful information and answer questions.
