Falun Dafa group to hold 8 weekends of motorcades

The Saipan Falun Dafa will be holding an “End Chinese Communist Party” motorcade for eight straight weekends on both Saturdays and Sundays, starting this Saturday, Nov. 14, up to Jan. 3, 2021, from 2pm to 4pm.
The association’s motorcade route will start from the American Memorial Park’s parking lot to Koblerville Mobil Gas Station and will end at the Falun Dafa’s headquarters.
Saipan Falun Dafa Association’s Xuankun Li confirmed that they have asked the Department of Public Safety for permission and assistance for the motorcade. Additionally, they hope to reach out to Delegate Gregorio Kilili C. Sablan (Ind-MP) for support.
Tht association promises to comply with traffic rules throughout the whole motorcade and coordinate all the vehicles in their group. Additionally, they will have at least one passenger and driver and will be equipped with a Zello PTT walkie talkie application installed after being tested on the driver or passenger cell phone.
Li said in a statement that the motorcade is intended to convey the group’s opposition to the CCP’s “evil work and anti-human nature.” The Saipan Falun Dafa Association was founded on Saipan in 2002 as a non-profit organization and has actively participated in the public affairs of the CNMI community. That includes 19 years of participation and performance in the Flame Tree Art Festival and Liberation Day Parade, more than 15 years at the Garapan’s Thursday Street Market, and more than six years at the Taste of the Marianas Festival.
