Express Financial celebrated a milestone last Thursday by celebrating five years of service in the CNMI with a table of refreshments that included baked goods and an enormous cake for their loyal customers.

According to Albert Manly, Express Financial vice president for operations in Guam and Saipan, it was their way to give back to their loyal customers.

“They have been so good to us and what today is all about is showing the island that we appreciate all their support and we couldn’t possibly be as successful as we have been without them,” he said.

Manly said that Express Financial has seen continuous growth in the last five years, thanks to their customers.

With growth came challenges. According to Express Financial area manager James Matsumoto, one of their biggest challenges was the issue with contract workers. Fortunately, they were able to adapt to the changes.

Manly said that foreign workers make up a third of their workforce so, if all goes well in favor of contract workers, Express Financial will continue to see growth in greater value.

“We anticipate to continue what we are doing right now and, hopefully, if the laws are in favor of the contract workers, it’ll be even better,” he said.

Matsumoto said the highlight of the past five years was that the actual growth of Express Financial was greater than projected.

“We like to pride ourselves in being the friendliest and quickest place to get cash when needed and we will be there for them. We are always excited to see new customers,” he said.

Express Financial is open from 8am to 4pm on weekdays. It is located on Middle Road.
