The two House of Representative lawmakers representing Precinct 2 will be hosting the CNMI’s first-ever “Opportunity Expo” that aims to not just educate the public about available job opportunities but also other opportunities in the community.

According to an invitation from Rep. Christina Sablan (Ind-Saipan), the goal of the expo is to connect constituents with the lineup of opportunities available to them to better their lives, their families, and the community, from employment and small business development, to education, vocational rehabilitation, additional disability and recovery services, and much more.

The expo will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center, from 10am to 6pm, and will be hosted by both Sablan and Rep. John Paul Sablan (R-Saipan).

Both representatives’ offices have invited a wide variety of businesses such as TanHoldings, educational institutions, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations to showcase the opportunities they offer.

“We hope to make the expo as interactive as possible, and encourage participating organizations to be creative in their exhibitions,” the invitation states.
