Excellent job for GCA students in PGFC regionals

Ten Grace Christian Academy students bagged 11 out of 60 major awards for both divisions: kindergarten to second grade and third grade to fifth grade in the 2014 Primary Grades Forensic Conference regional competition held on May 3, 2014, at Oleai Elementary School.

The first to third placers will be awarded with gold, silver, and bronze medals respectively. The winners of gold medals are fifth-grader Gianpaolo Borromeo and second-grader Julia Christine Jinang, both for Impromptu Speaking. The silver medalists are second-grader Kei Lizama and fourth-grader James Keaton, also both for Impromptu Speaking. The bronze medalists are third-grader Brandie Matsumoto for Impromptu Speaking, first-grader Moira Ernest, and third-grader Steven Adriatico, both for Dramatic Interpretation.

The administration, faculty and staff, and parents of Grace Christian Academy would like to extend their congratulations to all the winners and thank everyone who participated, including the coaches and judges in this year’s PGFC competitions.

Organized by the National Forensic League board and supported by the CNMI Public School System, kindergarten to fifth grade students from private and public schools vied for this year’s PGFC regional awards in forensic arts: reading, public speaking, and interpretations.

Great job to all GCA PGFC participants this school year and congratulations to the following winners.
