Former heavyweight mixed martial art fighter Antonio Wabol Nekaifes was arrested again Monday afternoon, this time for allegedly threatening to kill his common-law wife and their children.

Nekaifes, also known as Xcalibur, was taken to the Superior Court on Tuesday on charges of disturbing the peace. His bail was set at $500 cash.

Associate Judge Perry B. Inos pointed out that Nekaifas has four previous criminal convictions and warned him that if disobeys the court’s bail order, he will stay in jail until the trial.

Detective Catherine B. Pangelinan, who took the witness stand, said that a police officer had responded Monday afternoon to a residence in Chalan Laulau after a caller sought help against Nekaifes. Pangelinan said the caller was the mother of Nekaifas’ common-law wife.

According to the mother, Nekaifes threatened to kill his wife and her family members, including their children.

She said that Nekaifes would usually get mad and threaten to hurt family members whenever he is drunk.
