The Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation will be hosting its 2017 Summer Program starting June 5 and is inviting parents to sign their children up. The theme for this year’s program is Thankfulness, Empowerment, Respect, and Giving Back.

The summer program will include presentations from local speakers, instructional teachings, various activities such as golf lessons at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, beach cleaning, educational field trips to places like the Commonwealth Health Center, cultural lessons in crafts and history, and appreciation of Saipan’s underwater beauty and environment on a submarine trip.

EVMF’s 2017 Summer Program is a six-week program starting on June 5 and ending on July 14.

There will be three groups of 30 students. The first group will consist of children from the northern part of the Commonwealth. The program for this batch starts on June 5 to June 15.

The second group will consist of children from the central part of the island and will be from June 19 to June 29.

The third group will consist of children from the southern area of Saipan and will start on July 3 and end on July 13.

Orientation for the north batch of students will be on June 2, for the central batch on June 16, and for the southern batch on June 30.

The program is free, courtesy of proceeds from the 2017 Hyatt Classic Golf Tournament. The foundation would also like to thank Hertz Rent-a-Car for its support with transportation.

EVMF is located in Gualo Rai, across from Bali Fashion, above Kylie’s Bakery. For inquiries, EVMF can be reached at 253-2340 or 483-0162.
