The “First Friday” event series continues at Marianas Creations on Friday, Nov. 1, from 5pm to 10pm, this time to benefit the animal welfare group, Saipan Cares for Animals.

The First Friday events showcase local art, and allow the community to meet the artists. Artists, such as Greg Elliott, will be at the event showing his latest works. New jewelry from Tasi Treasures in Guam will also be introduced.

Inas Kitchen again joins Marianas Creations as the culinary partner for the event. “We are excited to again be collaborating for First Friday,” said chef Francisco “Sonny” Sablan. “We’re offering a new menu for this Halloween event, and vegan alternatives for every menu item.”

This First Friday will simultaneously also be the Black Cat Masquerade by Saipan Cares for Animals. There will be raffles throughout the night for great prizes, and all funds will benefit SCA. Costumes or masks are highly encouraged.

“First Friday is an opportunity for the community to support our local artists. We are excited to be joined again by Inas Kitchen,” said Elina Gharti Chhetri, owner of Marianas Creations. “Saipan Cares for Animals is an incredible local organization which will benefit from everyone’s support Friday night.”

The “First Friday” concept is a popular event series hosted in cities around the world. Typically, the events focus on promoting local art and culture.

Marianas Creations is currently soliciting for artists interested in showcasing their work to contact the shop. Additionally, they are seeking anyone who produces local products to contact the shop.

Marianas Creations is located on Micro Beach Road next to Everest Kitchen and Bridge Capital LLC. They can be reached on Facebook, Instagram, by phone 488-1924, or email sales@marianascreations.com. (PR)
