EUCON’s Dr. Christian Wei reelected as TRACS commissioner

The Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools, or TRACS, has reelected Dr. Christian Wei of the EUCON International University to another three-year term as a TRACS commissioner, covering the period from July 1, 2021, until June 30, 2024.

Dr. Matthew Beemer, who is chairman of the nomination committee of TRACS, informed Wei of his reelection last June 4, 2021. Wei has been a TRACS commissioner since 2011.

Wei graduated from the Orient Fundamental Bible College in Taiwan, and later went to Bob Jones University for further Bible training. In May 1987 he received his M.A. in Theology. In May of 1992 he graduated from BJU with a Ph.D. in Theology.

In 2002, Wei founded the EUCON International College, (now EUCON International University) for the 2 T training (certificate program for pastors and preachers of house churches in China).

EUCON International University is a degree granting institution of higher education in the CNMI and TRACS recently reaffirmed its accredited status as a Category III institution. It is approved to offer the following programs:

• Certificate of Achievement in Chinese Missions

• Certificate of Achievement in ESL

• Bachelor of Arts in Bible

• Bachelor of Science in Education

• Master of Arts in Theology

TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council of Higher Education Accreditation as a national accrediting body for Christian institutions, colleges, universities, and seminaries. (PR)
