Eucon confers diplomas to 16 graduates

Eucon International School conferred diplomas to 16 high school graduates and promoted 23 other students during the institution’s recent commencement exercises.
Besides the 16 senior high school students, the school also promoted 13 junior high school students and 10 sixth graders on the same recognition rites that saw the attendance of families and friends of the graduates.
In the same occasion, outstanding students in the lower grades were also bestowed recognitions and awards.
Eucon traditionally gives three annual awards in recognizing the academic excellence of the students from first grade to high school.
Recipients of the school’s President Award were Allie Raine Pillarina, Joanah Victoria Jimenez, Victoria Nicole Santos, Seong Beom Song, Lenard Gabriel Marcial, and Daniel EJ Villarmero. President Award is granted to students who displayed high academic performance and exemplar attitude.
For Principal’s Award, which is bestowed to students who displayed a huge improvement, the following were recognized: Luis Angelo Tolosa, Ken Rafael Cordero, Jeriah Bernabe Pecson, Ze Kun Yang, Yna Ysabelle Poquiz, Enze Zhang, Fei Chen, Yu Shan, Jing Tong Wang, Ling Ying Liu, and Si Ying Chen.
For the Dean’s Award, the following were honored: Dane Hodges, Joy Esther Yan, Caleb Joshua Yan, Juancho Philippe Siasoyco, Danielle Friscal Pineda, Rui Hua Theresa Zheng, Julianna Patricia Perez, Riselle Iris Leong, Li Mei Feng, Jin Ye Li, Ren Ai Chen, and Mark Anthony Liban.
Eucon also named 12th grader Lin Zi Chen as its most outstanding awardee during the ceremonies and bestowed Chun Chun Zhang the best in mathematics award.
Eucon also acknowledged the PGFC (primary grade forensic competition) and Math Court winners including gold medalist Joanah Victoria Jimenez, silver medalist Allia Raine Pillarina, and fourth placer, Joy Esther Yan.
The commencement exercises was keynoted by Dr. Yoh Shirato, an adjunct faculty of Eucon. Shirato encouraged the graduates to be faithful in their studies as it is the aim of Eucon Education to put their heart in God’s ways.
Eucon also saw six students graduate with three of them accepted at Pensacola Christian College, the maker of the A Beka Curriculum in Florida.
Eucon, a TRACS accredited institution, offers Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Bachelor of Arts in Bible, and intensive ESL Program. Registration is ongoing and those interested may call 234-3203/7.
