ESFDB students excel in ‘Aluf Luta’ poster and essay contest
Students from Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja excelled in the recent “Aluf Luta (Rota Wave)” essay and poster contests.
“Their essays and posters clearly demonstrate the understanding these students have of the theme, ‘Aluf Luta,’” said administrator/principal Carmen H. Atalig. “I am proud of their God given talents.”
The winners from ESFDB are:
• Marvin Clitar, 7th grade student, who won first place in the essay contest in the 6th to 8th grade division;
• Titus Hocog (3rd grade), AJ Tobongbanua (3rd grade), and Perry Mesngon II (3rd grade), who took first, second, and third places respectively in the Kindergarten to 3rd grade division;
• Autumn Hocog (4th grade), SonJoe Manuel (4th grade), and Éclair Ladao (4th grade), who took first, second, and third places in the 4th to 5th grade division.
Parents and students attended an awards ceremony for all the winners and participants at the Teteto Beach during the Labor Day celebration on Sunday, Sept. 6.
The students were awarded cash prizes, incentives, and certificates for their participation. (ESFDB)
