In addition to the debris removal, the soldiers conducted tree cutting and clearing by hand. They also cleared and prepared dumpsites at Oka Point in Tamuning and along Wusstig Road in anticipation of receiving more green waste.
The training also included assisting our sister service, the 554th Red Horse Squadron with grading and trenching operations at Northwest Field.
They are receiving support from the Guam Army National Guard’s Hulu Company (H Co), who is also conducting annual training, and providing feeding services to the 1224ESC Soldiers.
All soldiers on annual training are also validating their training on military specific tasks, such as weapons qualification, convoy operations, land navigation, and driver’s training.
