Emergency water outage in parts of CK, Kannat Tabla, Chalan Kiya
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there are two emergency water service interruptions for customers in the following areas:
Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 9:30am to Thursday, March 18, 2021 4:30pm
• Water service areas affected: Chalan Kanoa, Guillermo Avenue and Hilarion Avenue (behind the Galaxy II Snackbar).
• Purpose of the water outage: Isolation of a 6-inch waterline break on Guillermo Avenue for repair.
Friday, March 19, 2021, from 8:30am to 4:30pm
• Water service areas affected: A portion of Kannat Tabla Road from the entrance to CMS Quarry north towards the shooting range and customers in the Chalan Kiya area.
• Purpose of the water outage: Isolation of the 8-inch waterline for two (2) service lateral repairs located near Kannat Gardens and the shooting range area.
CUC urges customers in these areas to practice water conservation and to contact the CUC Customer Call Center to report any leaks for repairs. For the safety of the men and women at the jobsite, motorists are advised to exercise caution or take alternative routes as a section of the roadways will be closed for repairs.
