Emergency power interruption scheduled today

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the general public that there is a scheduled emergency power interruption today, April 7, from 8:30am to 11:30am.

The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize the primary lines to allow the CUC line crew to safely replace a rotted 45’ power poles along Tun Joaquin road in Fina Sisu. The pole is severely rotted and must be replaced immediately to ensure safety the ongoing vehicular and traffic in the area. CUC greatly appreciates the understanding of the community during this period.

Water services may be affected in the area during the power interruption; however, all services should be restored after the power is re-energized.

Areas to be affected are Kiya4 (Partial), Tun Joaquin Road in Fina Sisu (from Cool Laundry to Ladera School),

No sewer lift station or traffic lights would be affected by the schedule emergency power interruption.

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
