Emergency power interruption this Saturday

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the general public that there is a scheduled emergency power interruption on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize the primary lines to allow the CUC line crew to relocated 5 each primary power poles, primary conductors, and an ABS switchgear. This relocation is part of the on-going Cross Island Road Improvement Project. CUC greatly appreciates the understanding of the community during this period.

Water services may be affected in the area during the power interruption; however, all services should be restored after the power is re-energized.

Areas to be affected: Partial Feeder 4— Lower Base, Sadog Tasi going up Isa Drive [Laguna Drive, Coastal Drive, Capitol Hill Road (1300 block), Wireless, Governor’s Office, and Legislature Building]

Water well: SQ well (Garapan water services will also be affected)

Sewer Lift Station affected: None

Traffic light affected: Sadog Tasi

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, we ask travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
