Elenzano, accompanied by his wife Fe, turned over the donation to CCA president David B. Rosario on July 17, 2012, at the CCA office.

Elenzano said the donation mostly came from the $2 entrance fee they charged at the Spikes & Chains event and they thought of donating to CCA because they believe in its mission.

Rosario expressed appreciation for the donation, saying it would go toward programs and activities that fulfill the association’s goals and mission.

The CCA is funded entirely by the contributions of corporations, private foundations, individuals, and families. Its best-known fundraising event is the annual Marianas March Against Cancer.

The CCA holds open board meetings every month and members of the public are encouraged to attend. For more information about the association, or to make a donation, call 682-0050 or 285-3935, e-mail cca@ccamarianas.org, or visit www.ccamarianas.org.
