4.7-magnitude quake occurred in Marianas region
At 10:43pm on July 9 2022, a 4.7-magnitude earthquake occurred at 18.852°N 147.050°E in the Mariana Islands region. 5.0-magnitudequake in Marianas region
At 3:10am on July 9, 2022, a report of a 5.0-magnitude earthquake occurred at 18.806°N 147.137°E in the Mariana Islands region. There are no tsunami warnings or advisories that were issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. (PR)
4.5-magnitude quake in Pagan region
At 1:05pm on July 8, 2022, a report of a 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred at 18.627°N 145.685°E in the Pagan region, Northern Mariana Islands. CISN monitoring quakes in Marianas region
As of 11am Saturday morning , the California Integrated Seismic Network continues to alert seismic activity of 4.7 magnitude and lower occurring in the Marianas region. These are aftershocks subsequent to the 6.3 earthquake that happened at 9:36am in Pagan. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center continues to issue a “no tsunami threat” for the CNMI. The CNMI State Warning Point will continue monitoring these seismic activities. (PR)
