Early disbursement of awards for scholars
Both the CNMI Scholarship Office and the Saipan Higher Education Financial Assistance have started disseminating the first batch of checks to beneficiaries.
For SHEFA, all checks for the first batch are either ready for pick up at their office or through the mail.
According to SHEFA yesterday, it had started submitting check requests to the Department of Finance for processing and that the next batch of scholars need to submit their supporting documents for review and to facilitate the next release of checks.
The CNMI Scholarship Office also sent out emails to its first batch of awardees for the distribution of checks today, Wednesday. Students under the first batch can visit the Northern Marianas College cashier’s office with their ID cards after 10am today, Wednesday.
SHEFA and the CNMI Scholarship Office is reminding students under their programs to submit supporting documents before the deadline, Feb. 28.
