In support of additional direct charter flights launched this month for the Lunar New Year holiday and other seasonal travel, Dynamic Air and the Marianas Visitors Authority have collaborated on a FAM tour this month with media reps from major cities in China.

The seasonal flights began Jan. 2 from Shenyang, Jan. 5 from Tianjin, and Jan. 14 from Jinan and are expected to generate an additional 11,000 seats through the end of March from these cities in Northern China.

“The significance of these flights is that they are reaching into the second-tier cities of China, making it more convenient for these visitors to get to the Northern Marianas,” said MVA Marketing manager Bruce Bateman. “It’s a sign of strong demand for the destination.”

Tachonga and Kammer Beaches were visited, and the group watched the sunset at Taga Beach. The group went horseback riding and rode buggies, and filming was also conducted at Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino.
