Dry weather to last a few more days

The CNMI is slowly transitioning into its rainy season but the National Weather Service in Guam expects the dry weather to last a few more days.

In a recent weather update from NWS, it said that light winds and dry conditions will persist for a few more days at least.

The Marianas, however, can expect partly cloudy skies, light trade winds, and isolated showers across the island.

Generally dry weather is expected, but island thunderstorms would give spot relief today through Saturday afternoon. In any case, winds will remain light at only 5 mph to 10 mph.

Seas are expected to remain quiet the rest of the week.
