Drowned man’s wife seeks financial aid for burial

The wife of the spearfisherman who drowned at the Lower Base beach last March 28 is asking the United Filipino Organization for financial aid to help with her husband’s funeral costs.

Rosalie Molijar told UFO that she cannot financially shoulder the cost to repatriate her husband’s body for burial in the Philippines and is asking the group for its help.

Ronald Molijar was the CNMI’s first fatal drowning this year after he was swept out to sea last March 26 while spearfishing with friends. His body was later recovered.

For those who want to help, you may contact the UFO through their Facebook page for more details.
