DPS responds to 80 calls

This past weekend the CNMI Department of Public Safety responded to 80 calls on Saipan and made 14 arrests.

From 11pm on Friday, April 26, through 11pm on Sunday, April 28—a 48-hour period—DPS responded to 911 calls and were dispatched to 80 different calls that included auto-related incidents, civil matter, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, disturbing the peace, domestic violence, driving under the influence, injured person, stolen vehicles, and theft.

DPS would like to remind the public not to hesitate when calling 911. Dispatchers and officers are standing by to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the public. (PR)
