Acting Public Safety commissioner Ambrosio T. Ogumoro would like to inform the public that the department will continue to enforce its Aggressive Driver Interdiction Program and immediately start its “Outreach Education Program” campaign.

The purpose of this campaign is to educate, deter, and detect aggressive drivers out on the streets.

“We must be vigilant in monitoring the streets in our community for other law abiding citizens. We must keep our streets and highways safe for all motorist and pedestrians,” said Ogumoro.

ADIP will take effect immediately. All department units, including Patrol, Traffic, Boating Safety Unit, Criminal Investigative Bureau, and the Motor Carrier Safety Unit, will participate in this joint operation.

Ogumoro’s mission is to deter and stop aggressive driving. DPS Patrol and traffic officers will conduct night enforcement and conduct mini-checkpoints to educate and ensure the safety of the public. (DPS)
