DPL holds land use plan public hearing for Saipan
The Department of Public Lands is holding a public hearing tonight for Saipan residents about a land use plan it wants to produce within a year.
The public hearing will take place at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center, from 6pm to 7:30pm. Anyone who has who has issues, concerns, comments, or any reactions to the plan may submit their comments.
“I would like to invite our stakeholders to go to the public hearing and look at the proposed land use plan and submit their comments to our office,” said acting DPL secretary Greg Deleon Guerrero. Deleon Guerrero is the director of the Compliance Division at DPL.
Those unable to attend the public hearing may download a stakeholder survey from http://www.dpl.gov.mp/land-use-plan-resources/ and submit the completed survey to rreyes@ssfmcnmillc.com or jhart@chpmaui.com before Sept. 29, 2017.
A public hearing for the Northern Islands would be held tomorrow at the Northern Islands Mayor’s Office, Bldg. 1345 on Capital Hill, from 6pm to 7:30pm.
DPL has been conducting public hearings for the land use plan since Monday, with Rota stakeholders kicking off the meetings and public hearings for Tinian and Aguiguan stakeholders the following day.
