DOD, GovGuam reach out for collection of plants, timber

DEDEDO, Guam—In accordance with the 2011 programmatic agreement associated with the Marine Corps relocation in Guam, the U.S. Department of Defense, the State Historic Preservation Office, and the Department of Chamorro Affairs are seeking to expand the current list of traditional natural healers and other knowledgeable herbal practitioners or artisans interested in collecting plants and seeds within forested areas prior to vegetation clearing associated with future construction projects.
