The telecommunications company presented a check amounting to $2,000 to the Rota relief drive.
According to Docomo Pacific vice president for customer care Elizabeth Henry, they decided to help because of the customers that they have in Rota.
“After we heard about the devastating effect Typhoon Dolphin had on the people of Rota we knew we had to help. Docomo Pacific has many long-time loyal customers on Rota and we wanted to give back to the community that has supported us so well over the years,” Henry said.
Henry presented the check along with their PR for sales and marketing Pauline Johnson, cable network operation manager Jaynard White, and store manager Conrad Sablan Jr. last Thursday at the Docomo office in Gualo Rai.
“We know this donation will be used to help the residents and we were glad to contribute to the relief fund established by the Mayor of Rota,” Henry said.
The donation was received by Rep. Glenn Maratita (R-Rota), Sen. Steve Mesngon R-Rota), and Albert Taitano who were happy with the help.
“We know this donation will be used to help the residents and we were glad to contribute to the relief fund established by the Mayor of Rota,” Henry said.
