DMS recognizes participants to NJSDA

Over 100 students competed to earn the top spots in the recent National Junior Speech and Debate competition.

Dandan Middle School proudly honors its Tottots—Bina Mary Reyes, who placed first in her Carolinian Prose reading; Holly Liban, second in Dramatic Interpretation; and conjointly Rio Ayu Shadow and Grace Zhang who made it to the Top 5 for Original Oratory and Declamation, respectively. Four out of the nine DMS students broke into semifinals.

Jonathan Wolf triumphed first in his Declamation and Prose Reading. He additionally made it second place on his Humorous Interpretation event. He will be leaving to compete in the National Junior Speech and Debate competition in Salt Lake City, Utah this coming June. (PR)
