The Democratic Party of the NMI is reminding Precinct 3 voters to vote for its candidate Corina L. Magofna, in the special election to fill the seat left vacant by former lawmaker Ivan Blanco, who recently passed away.

The party described Magofna in a statement as a good governance advocate that will work for them and the entire CNMI once elected. “There is much work to do to create that better, fairer, brighter future for all. That future depends on all of us who love this community getting involved, speaking freely and without fear, and voting our conscience. The change we want is only possible if we work for it together. Change begins when we vote for it,” the party statement said.

Magofna

Magofna has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Accounting from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate of Science in Accounting from the University of Hawaii. Her professional background includes 20-plus years in Accounting, Finance, Budgeting, Internal Auditing and Management.
