The two tickets, which were turned in yesterday during a brief ceremony at the Delta Air Lines counter at the Saipan International Airport, will be used as hole-in-one prizes for the 20th edition of the TOC that will be held on Aug. 1 and 2 at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort. The Delta One tickets are valued at $17,000.

“For many years, the Tournament of Champions has raised funds that help promote the CNMI as a prime tourist destination,” said Delta Air Lines sales and marketing department’s Chris Concepcion. “We are happy to support the event and look forward to another successful tournament.”

“We would like to thank Delta Air Lines for its generous contribution and its commitment to the TOC year after year,” said TOC tournament director Ben Babauta. “The hole-in-one prize is sure to entice players to join the tournament.”

Besides the Delta One tickets, other hole-in-one prizes in the two-day tournament are three brand new cars, cash, and one-year free golf from LaoLao.

Players could also win cash and other prizes in the six fights and two more categories. The first placers in the Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Super Senior flights will get $500, while $400, $300, $100 and T Galleria gift certificate, and electronic devices will go to the second to fifth finishers. In the Ladies Low Gross, the champion will take home $500 and the runner-up and third placer will pocket $400 and $300, respectively. In the Ladies Low Net, the Top 3 finishers will get trophies.
