Dela Cruz joins honor society
An alumna of Kagman High School has joined the Golden Key International Honour Society after making it to the top 15 percent of her class at Portland State University.

Golden Key International Honour Society executive director Bradford W. Rainey announced Akeiko Macachor Dela Cruz’s inclusion in the honor society.
In the letter, Rainey said membership in Golden Key is a coveted distinction that marks collegiate academic success.
“Golden Key membership places students and alumni within a lifetime network of world leaders, Rhodes scholars, authors, corporate executives, Olympians, dignitaries, and other highly successful individuals. Membership in Golden Key provides unmatched access to personal education, career enhancement, and unique service opportunities,” he wrote.
Rainey added that Golden Key’s membership network consists of more than 2 million outstanding achievers from over 400 universities and colleges in numerous countries around the world.
Golden Key members have access to personal and professional development opportunities, leadership training, over $1 million dollars in scholarships annually as well as countless other benefits.
Dela Cruz is the daughter of Manases and Violy Dela Cruz.
