The family of Dr. Ignacio Dela Cruz, DVM, donated a check worth $1,500 to the Saipan Mayor’s Office last week. Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang and SMO special assistant Henry Hofschneider received the check.

“I made a pledge to the staff of the Saipan dog control program to donate to the program, and I am here to deliver on my promise,” said Dela Cruz, whose family is one of the most generous and caring residents of the CNMI.

Apatang again thanked the Dela Cruz family for being a caring friend to the needs of the people of Saipan.

“We are very fortunate to have a friend who cares for the people of Saipan and an important program of the mayor’s office that promotes the safety, health, and welfare of the people. Your generous contribution will sustain the program,” said Apatang.

“It is a way my wife, Vicky, our children, and I give back to the community that we love so much, and we are very happy that the program will benefit from it,” added Dela Cruz. (PR)
