DCCA staff completed the Fiscal Year 2016 DCCA Professional Development Training at Pacific Islands Club’s Charley’s Cabaret.

Topics for this year’s Professional Development included Code of Ethics (Office of Public Auditor), Disciplinary Process (Office of Personnel Management), Team Building (Northern Marianas Protection and Advocacy, Inc.), and Customer Service (Northern Marianas College Community Development Institute).

The various DCCA divisions took active participation taking turns with energizers between presentations and also allowed a short period for a needs assessment survey in order to improve delivery of DCCA programs and services to the community.

The training also provided for feedback from DCCA staff for future Professional Development topics.

The success of the training was made possible by the participation and assistance from the various DCCA divisions and programs headed by the Office of the Secretary Office, which includes Office on Aging, Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture, Chamorro and Carolinian Language Policy Commission, Child Care Licensing Program, Nutrition Assistance Program, Child Care and Development Fund, Historic Preservation Office, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, and the Division of Youth Services.
