June 15, 1944, a date that’s 71 years distant from today, is a day the people of Saipan will never forget. It was the date when the U.S. Armed Forces began the invasion of Saipan. Some of the residents of Saipan who are still living today will long remember the suffering they experienced during the Invasion of Saipan, and the eventual change in their lifestyle as a result of the invasion of Saipan by the United States.

On Sunday, at 9:30am, a Holy Mass will be celebrated at Kristo Rai Church and the general public is invited to attend to give thanks to our Creator for protecting us in that time of danger.
