The Sand Juvy Vicious Darties took a bye in last week’s 2014 Bud Light Saipan Electronic Darts Association Ladies League but managed to remain on top of the division.

The Vicious Darties, enjoying a 48-27 record, is holding on to a five-win advantage over the third-running Jhonny’s crew’s 43-32 mark after the Kitty Kats failed to catch up with them following an 8-7 loss to the Smoke Pub Ladies Bull-It!

The Kitty Kats looked headed to victory as Samy Atalig, Davilyn Santos, and Julie Ann Toves downed Selma Salas, Net Satur, and Jessamin Santos in their singles games, respectively to give the Jhonny’s-backed crew a 6-5 lead entering the last three matches.

But Salas, Satur, Santos, Natalie Reyes, and Norisa Camacho delivered in the final stretch to escape with the win that hiked their team’s record to 44-36 at second place behind the Darties.

The Naked Fish Dartin’ Divas are currently in fourth place with a 42-33 mark after completing a 13-2 thrashing of the Jokers G-Side Shooters.

Claire Aldan, Rita Fitial, Yvonne Pangelinan, Queanna Sablan, Luz Antonio, and Janice Camacho each won their respective match ups against the G-Side Shooters.

Only the duo of Pangelinan and Antonio in one of the two partners random cricket games, and Camacho in the singles regular cricket event were the losses of the Dartin’ Divas.

The Route 33 Avengers edged the Smoke Pub Mixed Nuts, 9-6, in the other Ladies League match.

The Mixed Nutz and the G-Side Shooters are tied at sixth to seventh spots with similar 36-54 slates, while the Avengers are at the cellar with 33-42 to round up the standings. (Jon Perez)
