CWGA February Ace set for Feb. 11

The CNMI Women’s Golf Association is holding its February Ace of the Month event on Feb. 11 at Coral Ocean Point.

Showtime is set at 11:30am, followed by a 12:30pm tee off.

Noriko Togawa won the group’s January Ace after topping last month’s competition at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort’s west course.

The CWGA holds monthly tournaments at various local golf courses around the island. After each event, organizers record the results based on a predetermined point system. The winner of each event is named Ace of the month and qualifies for the group’s year-end tournament. All points are tallied up at the end of the season with the winner being crowned the Ace of Aces champion. A multitude of other prizes are also awarded for other categories as well.
