The CNMI Women’s Association is inviting everyone to its inaugural “Fun-Raise-Her” Dinner on Nov. 22, 6-10pm, at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan in Garapan to help further CWA’s work that help fund programs and services that serve girls and women.

“It will be an evening of fun, celebration and inspiration like no other,” said CWA administrator Felicidad T. Ogumoro. “The fundraising dinner is dedicated to celebrating women, in addition to recognizing the ongoing work CWA carries out to support women in our community, and help raise much needed funds for them.”

The theme of the night is building resilience among girls and women so they could grow and fully bloom into the strong, confident, empowered, and resilient individuals that they are.

“We invite the community to journey with us and share in the joy of what is currently happening to advance our girls and women and look ahead to a brighter future,” Ogumoro added.

CWA provides education and training opportunities, mentorship, advocacy, and information and referral services for women.

Proceeds from the first “Fun-Raise-Her” will support CWA’s operations and programs, services, and activities.

Tickets are priced at $75 per person and can be purchased by calling 233-8978/9411, emailing cwa.fogumoro@gmail.com, or visiting the CWA Office (Building #1223) on Capital Hill.
