CUC: Limited water service for Kannat Tabla Tank service area
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform its water customers in As Terlaje, Chalan Laulau, Chalan Rueda, I Liyang, and Gualo Rai villages that due to the ongoing construction of the Puerto Rico water storage tank, water service to customers will be limited to early mornings daily until further notice.
The Puerto Rico tank is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion in late April 2015. The Kannat Tabla tank service area has been stretched to accommodate shortened water service to the Puerto Rico tank customers. In addition, the Kannat Tabla tank service area now includes the village of Chalan Kiya, thus shortening daily water service due to high demand.
CUC’s operation and engineering team is working on solutions to help extend water service to the affected areas by adding an additional submersible pump to the Isley Booster I station, which will then supply additional water into the Kannat Tabla tank.
