CUC hires Ruszala as PIO

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. announced yesterday the addition of Brad Ruszala as its new public information officer. Ruszala comes with a wealth of communications experience, having spent nearly seven years as the marketing coordinator for a regional telecom and another six years in print, radio, and television as a reporter and anchor.

A long-time resident of the Marianas, Ruszala looks forward to being a part of a public corporation.

“I’m excited about the prospect of providing our island communities with information about what’s happening with our utility. I look forward to working with the CUC team to develop their communications policies that will more effectively share the progress made by our hardworking staff,” he said.

CUC executive director Alan Fletcher said: “Brad’s wealth of experience with public relations and the media make him a key addition to our corporation. Having him on the team allows us to better engage our customers and conduct community outreach in line with our goals for the coming years.” (CUC)
