Updates on emergency water service interruption in Kagman, Papago, San Vicente, Upper Dandan Homestead, Obyan and Naftan
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to update the public on the emergency water service interruption that occurred Sunday for customers in the Kagman, Papago, San Vicente, Upper Dandan Homestead, Obyan and Naftan areas.
Customers in the Kagman 1 area have already received water services yesterday but CUC customers located along Brother’s Market to Kagman 3 Phase 4 remains offline until further notice. In addition, customers in Kagman 3 will have no water service from 7pm last night to today, Sept. 14, at 6am. CUC’s operators are still troubleshooting in the Kagman 1 and 2 areas to identify the cause of the problem by performing leak detection. Updates on this water service interruption will follow as soon as they are available. (CUC)
Scheduled power interruption on Sept. 18
There will be a scheduled power service interruption on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, from 8:30am to 2:30pm for a portion of Airport Road. As CUC continues its ongoing system maintenance, there will be a scheduled power interruption to de-energize utility lines such that CUC linemen are able to safely replace rotted wooden power poles to concrete poles along Tun Herman Pan Road in Airport Road Dandan.
– Outage type: Sectionalized outage on the Kiya I Circuit
– Project location: Tun Herman Pan Road in Airport Road Dandan
– Power service area(s) affected: Portions of Airport Road Dandan (Commerce Place, Skydive Place, Gapet Lane, Kaling Drive, Dancing Place, Ganggoche Drive, Tuba Lane, Exploring Drive, Swimming Lane, Tourist Loop, Diving Lane, Langet Place, Saagh Place, and Sineso Lane). See attached map.
– Water well(s) affected:
1.) DD-7 Well (Water services for entire the San Vicente, Upper Dandan and Obyan areas might be affected based on tank level).
2.) DD-8 and IF-105 Wells (Water services for Airport Road, Chaim Monsignor Martinez Road from Shell Dandan to ABCD Market, As Lito, portions of As Perdido and Koblerville and Tottotville might be affected based on tank level).
– Wastewater lift station(s) affected: A13 and A14 Lift Stations. (CUC)
