Finasisu Lane temporarily closed today
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there will be a temporary road closure on Finasisu Lane near the Northern Marianas College and behind the As Terlaje Water Tank.
The road closure is needed to ensure Wastewater Operators have ample time and safe space to locate a buried manhole. The entrance to NMC from Chalan Monsignor Guerrero near the As Terlaje water tank will be closed today, Feb. 24, 2021, at 9am and re-opened at 4:30pm.
For the safety of the men and women working at the site, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and to take an alternative route when considering of traveling through the area. (PR)
Water service interruption in parts of Kagman II today
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there will be an emergency water service interruption today, Feb. 24, 2021 from 8am to 4pm for customers in the area of Kagman II on Chacha Road near Brother’s Market toward Marine Beach and Kalamendok Lane.
This is due to a leak repair on an 8-inch distribution waterline near the Chacha Road and Hasngot Lane intersection. CUC’s Contractor, AIC Marianas, will be performing the waterline repairs as part of the Leak Detection and Waterline Repair Project funded by the U.S. Environment Protection Agency. Water service to the affected areas should resume soon after the repairs at 4pm.
For the safety of the men and women at the jobsite, proceed with caution and/or take an alternative route during the repair of the waterline.
